I called last night as my cat was very ill. Dr M said to meet him at his clinic at 9pm. He is so caring and was willing to come out on a Saturday evening! I couldn’t believe it! He and his amazing assistant ran tests and X-rays on Phoenix and... took the time to explain what was going on. I didn’t expect to bring him home, but I am overjoyed to say that Phoenix is home and progressing nicely. Thank you so much for your outstanding care and compassion. We took our German Shepherd here for surgical removal of a tumor that was also starting to become infected. The procedure went great and the area looks clean and neatly stitched, and our dog feels so much better. Dr. M seems very experienced since... our dog is normally very difficult to work with, but he handled him with ease. You can tell that the people who work here are kind and genuinely care for the animals they treat.read more

Dr Medhat is by far the best vet I could ever come across. He made me feel very calm, and he was beyond amazing with my rabbit. He was very friendly, and extremely helpful. It was really hard to find a good trusting vet as I have never took my cat to a vet :( but over here at Truscott Animal Hospital they sure know what they are doing! As soon as we walk in we’re not only greeted by the reception but also a super... cute cat named George! They treated my cat and I with lots of love, care and patience also did a fantastic job with making sure he is doing good by giving us updates over the phone. It is a little pricey but very well worth it considering the end results! My cat is now doing amazing thanks to their help! :)read more

We got a call from the kids to come home and check on Diesel, we came home on Saturday early afternoon and saw our English bulldog had still not come out of his crate or eaten yet, we finally got him out and noticed a large lump on the side of his... face! We panicked and called Truscott animal hospital immediately and said I know diesel has never been to you but we need medical attention right away, without hesitation Vanessa (your staff member) said bring him in right away the vet will see him! We got there and were greeted with love and smiles. Diesel got attention instantly from the vet and Vanessa they were AMAZING the vet was so gentle and kind to our boy keeping him calm! He treated what happened to be an abscess! Sent him home with meds and a follow up to make sure he was gonna do better! We brought him back today (Monday) as you asked us to, and again the welcoming, warming greeting we got was incredibly! I have since moved all of our 3 English bulldogs records to them and will only be using them as our new vet also it’s so close to home for us too! It’s so important to find a vet that your comfortable with to take care of your babies and be confident that they are getting the proper treatment they need to get better! My golden doodles was in a fight with another dog on Boxing Day and she lost, her eye was bleeding a puncher in the neck. I called the 24 hour animal hospital and they told me they could not see her they were too busy, I called ever Vet office in... Mississauga and everyone was close I called Truscott animal hospital and of course no answer there to, at this point I really didn’t know what to do next, then my phone rang and Dr M called me I told him what had happened and he said come right in, he opened his clinic to help her. He was very caring and moved very quickly to ensure he examined her eye as she was in bad shape. I am so happy that he helped her and now he will definitely be our new Vet.Thank you so much.read more

I was in search of a new vet for my puppy and have come across Truscott Animal Hospital online. I receive nothing but excellent service from Dr. M and his assistants and they definitely earn 5 stars and more. The staff is very welcoming and have... provided me with a lot of information being a new dog owner. Dr. M demonstrates exceptional skills and care with pets as well as being very understanding with pet owners. I definitely picked the right vet! Excellent experience today at the clinic!! Went with my bunny because her shoulder was dislocated and Doctor M was extremely helpful and very kind. We are so thankful to have met Dr. M and his staff at Truscott Animal Hospital. We adopted two feline brothers and within the first week they were both in need of some medical attention. As new pet owners, we were very nervous and worried about our... new family members. One visit to Dr. M calmed our minds and by the next check up our boys were on the up and up! I have had dogs all my life, when I rescued my puppy in the summer it was time to try a new vet. After bringing my puppy to Trustcott Animal Hospital I will never go anywhere else. Dr M is a vet who treats every animal he sees like his own and... will move heaven and earth to ensure that animals are healthy and safe to go home. He knows all of the pets and owners by name and takes the time to explain everything (including all procedures, prices and test results). His prices are extremely reasonable and fair. His staff are all very welcoming, patient and caring. We had an emergency with our pup and Dr M knew what was wrong as soon as we walked in the door, he is calm in an emergency and still explains what's going on.read more

Dr Medhat is amazing! He treats everyone like they’re family. Our dog Zita had just gotten spayed from another hospital. We were super nervous about it and my uncle was suspecting she’d gotten a post spay infection so I asked if I could bring... her in for him to take a look. He was already having a very busy day (had a couple of emergencies that day) and was nice enough to do a quick check up. Would highly recommend this hospital to everyone I know!read more

The doctor is amazing. The while staff is friendly. They were amazing with my kitty and so nice with us people too. If you need a vet, go to this practice. So very excellent. I cannot say enough about the help they have provided.

Dr M is not just a great veterinarian but a compassionate person. I’ve been a pet owner for my entire life and I’ve never experienced a more amazing veterinary team than the group at Truscott Animal Hospital. From fitting us in with our emergency situation last minute to the care, compassion and dedication we... received from every team member. Today is the civic holiday in August. Dr.M and his staff stayed 8 hours after they were supposed to close to save our dogs life. We were treated as family and totally informed for the entire time. I will never not recommend this vet going forward. Ellie’s home, recovering and it’s all thanks to Dr.M and his team.***Adding an edit to this.
